In the spirit of Christmas, residents of The Arbour, L&Q’s new development within the Beaulieu neighbourhood on the outskirts of Chelmsford, have donated a collection of new Christmas gifts to Kids Inspire, an Essex-based charity which provides mental health and trauma support for children and young people across the county.
The donated gifts were brought along by residents as part of a community Christmas event, which took place on Saturday 10th December at The Arbour. Guests enjoyed refreshments whilst listening to carols and festive songs performed by local choir, The Sound Collective. A popular wreath workshop was delivered for attendees by local small business Flowers in the Window, whilst children were able to decorate festive edible Christmas jumper biscuits.
Based in Chelmsford, Kids Inspire provides a range of therapeutic and community activities to promote resilience, self-awareness and relationship building, with the aim of ensuring all children in the UK receive support to become healthy adults who lead complete and fulfilling lives. For the past 12 years, with the support of local communities, their Christmas appeal has sourced, wrapped and delivered presents and hampers to thousands of children and their families across Essex.

The Arbour is L&Q’s latest collection of homes at the award-winning Beaulieu development.
